廖璟，博士、副教授、硕士生导师， 物联网工程系主任。湖南省物联网学会理事， 现任CCF YOCSEF长沙 AC委员兼学术秘书。

2007年，毕业于中南大学控制理论与控制工程专业，获工学硕士学位；2012年，英国奥斯特大学，获计算机科学与数学博士学位。2013年至2016年在英国斯特克莱德大学工程学院通讯实验室分别任职副研究员和研究员。担任 IEEE system，man and cyber（c）、Information Science等 SCI 期刊审稿人。

主要研究领域为嵌入式系统、智能家居、工业物联网、图像处理、信息挖掘和大数据处理。
